School Foundation / The School
The Jewish School started in 1929, initially in the building in Via Eupili, providing nursery and primary schools. From 1938, following the racial laws which excluded Jewish pupils from public schools, the school was extended to include all the orders of study to give children of all ages the opportunity to attend the school. Since then the Jewish School has offered a complete educational curriculum, from nursery school to secondary school and high schools specialising in languages, science economics and technical subjects, taking students to the school leaving examination.
